Introduction
We, the former and present students of the Art History Department would like to establish a new type of picture gallery, which suits the demands of modern times. The database would allow everyone to upload different images of paintings, sculptures and buildings from which only old photographs are available in other sources.
Refreshing pictures from these are always important, because there is always a possibility of restorations or such modifications that are not well documented. Because many of us have already visited foreign countries which are also interesting from the aspects of our major or Art History, this database represents great emotional value. There is a possibility that many photographed details may also settle debates on difficult questions. In this content monuments from Europe, Africa and even from America are presented.
There is only one rule:
Everybody may use this page whether being just interested or a colleague. Our aim is to
receive better exam marks with a fresh twist in style...
But if someone uses the photos or content
related materials presented in our catalogue, credit must be given to all original owners
on ethical basis.
The legality of the images for presentation depend on the people who took them.
